Metalphoto is an extremely durable printing process which can last for years and is ideal for harsh environments and short-run orders. Metalphoto resists harsh chemicals, salt spray, abrasion, de-lamination, and won’t fade in heat and sunlight. Because of its durability and suitability for outdoor environments, black and silver Metalphoto nameplates meet stringent mil-spec standards such as GG-P-455b, Mil-P-15024F Type H, Mil-P-514D, Mil-P-19834B types I and II, and Mil-A-8625E. Metalphoto is also recognized under UL file MH17767. Metalphoto is an aluminum based material and is available in nine gauges from .003 to .125”. The Metalphoto process will yield a silver and black image sealed in the anodized layer on the aluminum (either black image on silver background or silver image on black background.) In addition, screen printing can add a selection of additional standard colors such as red, blue, yellow and green. |
